The mission of the Warrior-Yoga Program is to grant eligible Veterans a full scholarship to complete a comprehensive program to become a certified yoga instructor. By equipping the Veteran with this highly marketable skill, opportunities for supplemental income as well as community reintegration. Additionally, in the process of completing the certification the Veteran will gain healthy and holistic coping mechanisms and a supportive community. Support of the Veteran extends beyond the initial certification as they have one year paid insurance and two years of professional support to assist them with anything from marketing, to setting up their own business.
Warrior-Yoga Teacher Training Program
The Warrior-Yoga Teacher Training program builds and strengthens communities by providing opportunities for civilians and active military and veterans to explore and deepen their yoga practice while training to become certified yoga teachers. The Warrior-Yoga Teacher Training program is suitable for dedicated practioners seeking to increase their yoga knowledge and share it within their community. With an open heart and willing mind, together we will study and practice the yoga of action, intention, compassion and knowledge.
Our curriculum encompasses: Vinyasa, Hatha, Partner and Restorative Yoga, Medidtation, teaching special populations; embodied anatomy and physiology, design and sequencing of a class, practice in the art of teaching and living your Yoga.
